Quality Assurance Processes:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance processes and standards for furniture products.
Create and update quality control documentation, including inspection plans, testing procedures, and quality manuals.
Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:
Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and make adjustments as necessary
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAP) to address and eliminate quality problems.
Investigate and analyze product defects and quality issues to determine root causes.
Handling Customer Claims:
Communicate effectively with customers to address their concerns and provide timely solutions.
Audit CAP and feedback result to customers
Document all customer claims and track their resolution.
Receive, investigate, and resolve claims from customers related to product quality issues.
Tracking Improvement and Documentation:
Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and improvement progress to management
Track quality improvement initiatives and document the results.
Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, corrective actions, and improvements.
Collaboration with Production Teams:
Provide technical guidance and support to production staff on quality- related issues
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into production processes
Conduct training sessions for production teams on quality assurance best practices and procedures
Supplier Quality Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality
Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and vendors
Conduct supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and advancements in quality assurance practices
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
Quality Metrics and Reporting:
Prepare detailed quality reports for management, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement.
Present quality data and findings to stakeholders and recommend actionable solutions
Develop and track key quality metrics to measure and analyze product quality performance.
