Quality Assurance (QA) Leader

Description:
The QA Leader will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts in software development projects, ensuring that all products and services meet the necessary quality standards.
Responsibilities

Participate in the development, documentation, and maintenance of departmental procedures and processes.
Provide QA input throughout all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including technical design reviews and development activities.
Lead and manage the quality assurance team, ensuring project milestones are met and QA activities align with project standards.
Develop, execute, and oversee test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all requirements.
Regularly interact with development staff to resolve issues and barriers impacting software quality.
Maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to promote open communication and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in technical writing and excellent oral communication skills.
Familiarity with test planning, design methodologies, and Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
Experience in leading a QA team.
Strong knowledge of various testing types, including performance, system, and integration testing.
Effective communication with the headquarters.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Priority is given to employees with Japanese language ability
Experience with tools such as Rational RequisitePro, TestDirector/TestStand, and Quality Center.
Monitor product performance and handling system errors
Research and develop new technology related to project
Experience in a production environment or organizational culture that focuses on quality software within constraints.cture, develop, review code, test, launch new projects from the zero
Proper database design takes into account functional and non- functional requirements
Training, support and motivate team members.
Knowledge of U.S. federal government compliance standards and public sector requirements for QA processes.
Good at English- Business level
Write clean and maintainable code

Working environment

Working time: Monday to Friday- 9:00 to 18:00
