Quality Control Manager (QC Manager)

Job Summary
The QC Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all quality control and quality assurance activities within the furniture manufacturing plant. The primary goal is to establish, implement, and maintain rigorous quality standards from raw material inspection through to final packaging and pre- shipment inspection, ensuring all products meet both company specifications and international customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Quality System Management:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company&039;s Quality Control (QC) policies, procedures, and inspection standards specific to wooden furniture manufacturing.
Establish clear quality checkpoints (IQC, IPQC, FQC) throughout the entire production cycle (cutting, sanding, assembling, finishing, packaging).
Team Leadership and Development:
Allocate QC resources effectively to monitor production lines and resolve critical quality issues promptly.
Lead, manage, train, and mentor the QC team (including supervisors, inspectors, and technicians) to ensure consistent application of quality protocols.
Inspection and Reporting:
Conduct in- process quality audits and final product inspections, utilizing international standards (e.g., AQL sampling).
Oversee the inspection of all incoming raw materials (wood, hardware, finishing chemicals) to ensure they meet specified technical criteria (IQC).
Prepare detailed quality reports, analyze defect trends, identify root causes, and propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Customer and Compliance:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer quality audits and final inspections.
Ensure all finished furniture complies with international safety and quality standards (e.g., CARB P2, FSC requirements, specific market regulations).
Coordinate with the Production and R&D teams to implement design changes or process improvements based on quality feedback.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Wood Technology, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is preferred.

Commitment:
Must be able to work the required schedule (
Monday to Saturday
) at the factory location in
Ben Luc, Long An (Employee shuttle service)

Experience:
Strong command of English (written and verbal) for communicating with international clients/management is a distinct advantage.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance roles within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to work under pressure and manage production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Minimum 3+ years of managerial experience leading a QC team in the wooden furniture/wood processing industry is mandatory.
