Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer (level II) is responsible for managing Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) operations and ensuring product quality for high- precision machining manufacturing. This role works closely with Engineering and Production teams to deploy quality processes, support new product introduction, and drive continuous improvement.

Work Location: Nhon Trach, Dong Nai
Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and manage CMM programs; deploy First Article Inspection (FAI) for new products and processes.
Collaborate with Engineering and Prototyping teams to transfer quality requirements for new or customized products.
Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and control Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) operations.
Train and develop quality inspectors and operators on quality standards and inspection methods.
Establish and improve quality procedures, methods, and controls to enhance yield and process stability.
Implement and maintain quality engineering documentation including 3D models, blueprints, work instructions, inspection sheets, and control plans.
Translate quality engineering documents into Vietnamese to support shopfloor execution.
Support quality planning, inspection reporting, calibration activities, and shipping readiness.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies including 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, SPC, MSA, and FMEA.
Strong capability in reading 2D drawings and deep understanding of GD&T.
Hands- on experience operating and programming CMM machines.
Working knowledge of 3D CAD softwarb such as SolidWorks or equivalent.
Solid understanding of machining processes and hard metal cutting conditions.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in high- precision machining or manufacturing environments.
