Restaurant Manager (Wine Bar)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of our wine bar concept. We are seeking an expatriate candidate with a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a good understanding of the Ho Chi Minh City dining scene, particularly the Thao Dien market and expatriate community.
Job Description:
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
• Lead, supervise, train, and motivate front- of- house staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Provide staff training on wine knowledge, service standards, and upselling techniques.
• Oversee the daily operations of the wine bar and ensure smooth service execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with regular guests and develop customer loyalty.
• Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and local regulations.
• Organize wine tastings, promotional activities, and community engagement events.
• Control labour costs, operating expenses, and inventory levels.
• Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving revenue targets.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Identify market trends and opportunities within the Ho Chi Minh City and Thảo Điền hospitality scene.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and special events.
• Coordinate with suppliers and assist in managing wine and beverage stock.

Job Requirements:
• Previous experience managing upscale casual dining venues, wine bars, or premium hospitality concepts is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant POS systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship- building abilities.
• Fluent in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.
• Available to start immediately is preferred.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of the Ho Chi Minh City F&B industry, especially the Thao Dien market and expatriate customer segment.
• Candidate currently residing in Vietnam or willing to relocate.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant, wine bar, or hospitality management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good organizational, administrative, and problem- solving skills.
• Existing network within the expatriate community in Ho Chi Minh City is an advantage.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to drive sales and increase profitability.
• Strong knowledge of wines and beverage service; WSET certification or similar qualifications is preferred.
