JOB SUMMARY
Communicate service needs to chef during functions, and prepare checks for payment. Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are set up for service with proper centerpieces and clean chinaware, glassware, and silverware. Check guest satisfaction, set tables per event type, and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow safety protocols. Adhere to company policies, ensure uniform standards, and protect company assets. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns. Move objects up to 25 pounds and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Guest Relations: Address guest needs professionally, listen actively, and ensure satisfaction. Assist individuals with disabilities and provide information on services and local attractions.
Food and Beverage Services: Follow procedures for serving alcohol, ensure food quality, maintain cleanliness, and handle guest incidents.
Communication: Use clear, professional language with guests and coworkers. Answer phones with appropriate etiquette and share information discreetly.
Banquet/Event Supervision: Communicate needs with chefs, handle payments, and prepare banquet areas. Inspect cleanliness and check guest satisfaction during service.
Physical Tasks: Perform physical tasks like standing, lifting, and using computer systems.
Safety and Security: Report accidents to supervisors and correct unsafe procedures. Follow company safety protocols, use appropriate protective equipment, and complete necessary training. Ensure safe operation and storage of tools and equipment, and handle emergencies according to procedures.
Quality Assurance/Improvement: Ensure quality standards are met, recommend improvements, and monitor performance.
