Ruby on Rails

Active participation in Customer/Partner design meetings and general engagement
Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision
Work with the other partners to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround
Review business requirements with team members
Ensure on time, on budget, and quality of the product
Produce a solid, detailed technical design
Develop and maintain applications using Ruby on Rails
Perform a technical analysis of requirements

Must have:

S. in Computer Science, or equivalent
3 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails framework and all layers of the stack (UI to DB): Ruby, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, knowledge in Backbone JS is an advantage
Fluent in English

Nice to have:

A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work
Having experience in HTML5, AngularJS, NodeJS is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Amazon Web Services, Heroku is a plus
Able to optimize app performance and user experience via caching, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Having experience in Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn APIs
Highly organized driven individual with skills in an agency environment
Experience in object- oriented design, data modeling, and software architecture
Drive and enthusiasm with the ability to manage and co- ordinate multiple projects
2+ years of hands- on coding experience in building web applications and payment gateway
Good teamwork and reliability
Be creative and good at user experience
Having experience in RefineryCMS, Fat Free CRM, Spree e- commerce is a plus
