Role Description
The Asia Sales Account Manager is responsible for sales & account management focused on APAC region. This role is crucial to expand and strengthen the APAC sales with local presence. The local presence is crucial. The person will co- create, lead, and execute the commercial strategy.
Ensure that the requirements for products (related to safety, quality, and environment) as requested by the customer and those offered by VRR are matching, before VRR commits to deliver these products.
Acts as commercial point of contact for designated customers during the order execution and monitors customers’ perceptions of the degree to which their needs and expectations have been fulfilled.
Advanced knowledge of General conditions such as Incoterms and common payment terms.
If applicable, works closely with and possibly oversees regional sales representatives.
Develop, lead and execute the commercial strategy in APAC region, with potential extended regions based on commercial strategy
Handles one or two key accounts in addition to several generic accounts.
Creates commercial proposals for customers and sets up long term agreements.
Provides first- line support for customer complaints and tracks the handling of these complaints to inform the customer.
Advanced knowledge of inbound marketing and sales.
The Account Manager is responsible for the day- to- day management of a particular set of customer&039;s accounts, maintaining existing relationship and building new relationships and by that generating order intake.
Assesses, without consultation, the best commercial approach.
Sets SMART annual sales goals with the Commercial Lead & General Manager for designated customers and keeps them informed on progress on a regular basis.
Identifies market opportunities by itself and, with support, builds business cases based on this information.
Co- create the global commercial strategy for high- volume ULD product groups
Acquire new customers by identifying new business opportunities by building relationships.
Provides input to marketing strategies that target specific regions, demographics or markets.
Has a good overview of sales targets and how they interact with other company targets.
Proactively gains market insights which are necessary to grow the business.
Supports or will lead a local team if everyone goes well.

Qualifications
Strong team player, but can also work independently since other Commercial team in Netherlands
Willingness to travel frequently to customers through APAC and potentially further dependent on commercial strategy
Strong analytical and structured problem- solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical, Engineering or a related field is preferred
High ethical standards and a proactive mindset.
Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Feel comfortable being in spaces with lots of people (for example, during conferences) and having to be eager and pro- active for the attention of a (potential) customer.
