SUMMARY
To develop sales activities to achieve maximum sales of Oakwood Residence Saigon to current and prospective customers providing a mix of strategic and tactical solutions in a business- to- business selling environment.
The focus is on acquisition, penetration, and retention and achieves the set sales target annually.
To effectively achieve or exceed sales goals set by the Director of Sales & Marketing and maximizes revenue and yield potential.
Promote the desired work culture around Oakwood’s core values and the brand ethos
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete Monthly Oakwood Associates Review (OAR) report no later than the 5th of every month and review on one to one basis with Director of Marketing & Sales.
Use brochures, property photos, website, property profiles and press releases as part of your visits in person with decision –makers
Clients to include top multinational regional and headquartered companies, government agencies, and Embassies.
Attend major sales/PR, networking related functions
Provide support to General Manager, Director of Marketing & Sales and entire staff by participating in weekly meetings, provide updates on potential business, assist with client service issues and property tours, reviewing vacancies with management, etc.
To bring business by marketing the Oakwood name and concept in assigned region ensuring the given quota/targets set on sales calls; room nights and room revenue is being met.
Procure new and repeat business by monitoring contact with business chambers, private clubs and professional associations within local and international markets
Promote Oakwood to clients through personal visits, target companies and industry direct mailers, client gifts (including birthdays) and holiday promotions. Such client gifts include Oakwood mug, photo frame, and shopping bag. In addition, learn about your client’s hobbies, and favorite restaurants, and buy gifts reflecting their personal preferences. (Be original and remember a gift does not have to be expensive).
After each client visit send follow –up with letter or thank you note when appropriate. After each client call or tour follow- up on all pending business within one day of original contact. Schedule follow- calls based on the outcome of call.
Manage time effectively by:
Will comply with any other directive/assignments from Senior Management which may from time to time be requested.
Map out territory and schedule client visits in the same area on the same day. If time permits, blitz a new office building or area to or from scheduled appointment. Track offices and areas on blitz with the Director of Marketing & Sales.
Will ensure property rules and regulations are adhered to and will maintain discipline within the property following disciplinary guidelines as described in the Associate handbook.
Scheduling each week so that you are out of the office on sales calls between prime selling hours- 9:30- 11:30 a.m. and 2:00- 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Preparing brochures, rate sheets and presentations prior to meetings
Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely Will comply with property rules and regulations as outlined in the Associate Handbook, which may from time to time be amended or replaced.
