Purpose of the Job- Overview

The role reports directly to the Director of Sales (DOS) and works closely with the revenue team to ensure that the corporate and event strategies align with the property&039;s business needs.
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and sourcing corporate and event business that supports the collection&039;s strategic plan to maximize room revenue at Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne properties.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Understand menu pricing, room layouts, and AV requirements for all types of meetings and events
Manage relationships with preferred event vendors
Work with Marketing on initiatives to generate leads
Oversee the sales and operations of private meetings and events
Assist in creating and maintaining operational standards
Assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary
To have excellent professional demeanor in working with prospective and current clients
Generate reports and evaluate sales
Ensure booking processes and actions are followed in- line with company standards
Create SMART sales action plans on finding and seeking new business
Achieve set Key Performance Objectives and Indicators and complete all other duties, tasks and projects as required
Attend any meetings or training sessions or courses as required
Undertake any reasonable request made by a member of management
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and propose revenue- generating initiatives
Confidence in managing clients efficiently, understanding their needs and actively qualifying every lead
Maintain brand identity throughout programming and coordination
Conduct site inspections and outside sales calls goals on a weekly basis
Contract, detail and liaise on all aspects of a corporate meeting, event, or social event in all private spaces
Mentor and develop junior sales managers and event operations staff
Establish and foster new relationships that drive desks sales and increase brand awareness for the property
Continuously seek out opportunities to learn and improve the knowledge of the job
Attend necessary trade shows in the event planning industry
Proactively prospect and network with meeting planners for new corporate and social events on property
Assist with promoting, selling, and managing private event rentals
Generate and execute processes for event booking

Yêu cầu công việc

Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management or relevant major
Proven record experience as Event Sales Manager in an international luxury hotel
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills
Fluent verbal and written English skills
Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast- paced environment.
