RESPONSIBILITIES
Co- sales with oversea offices to take care customers’ requirement to boost up customers’ support for outbound and inbound cargo.
Monitor all sales & marketing activities of the Sales team to ensure daily/weekly/monthly actions to fulfill task as well as to meet principal’s policy and requirements.
Prepare and do weekly/monthly reports or ad- hoc report for Principles to review lifting, forecast, update market situation, action plan…
Co- operate with other Departments (Logistics, Operation, Customer service, Documentation, Accounting) to handle cargo smoothly and offer the best service quality to the customers.
Assist General Line Manager to do general market surveys at any time in order to develop more business for Company.
Monitor all relevant announcements, service changes, tariff rates, surcharges, etc. & instruct sales team accordingly.
Daily, weekly contact with Principals for sales action with market update, rate policy, free time, validity… then instruct sales team to take action and secure the cargo timely.
Keep good relationship with customers to update their business situation timely, to have prompt action plan to maintain the business.
Communicate with Principal and Overseas Agencies (regarding customer’s requirements, internal issues, etc...
Sales Manager for Chinese, Asian Container Shipping Lines and NVOCCs.
Keep looking for new customers to expand customer- base, as well as to diversify more cargo sources.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Training requirements
University degree. Priority for Maritime, Foreign Trade and Economy University
Work Experience Requirements:
Ability to lead and manage Sales Team.
Hard work and willing to do with some different Shipping Liners and NVOCCs under high pressure.
Must be Proficiency in English. Chinese is advantage.
At least 10 years’ experience in Sales for Container Shipping Lines and NVOCCs, especially in market from Hochiminh to China, India, Middle East, Southeast Asia….
