Excellence in sales leadership and customer engagement are essential. Effective management of key accounts across corporate, government, wholesale, and B2B partners to drive growth to meet and exceed annual revenue budgets. Additionally, the Sales Manager leads the Sales team to ensure smooth departmental operations, maximizing business opportunities and delivering the highest service standards to partners.
The Sales Manager leads sales for the designated target markets. This role involves building successful sales- managed segment strategies, and account plans that maximize performance and drive change in customer contracting processes.
Duties & Key responsibilities:
Training and Knowledge:
Understand and stay updated on competitor products, and acquire key account insights to enable growth in market share from key accounts. Provide timely feedback to the Director.
Foster a team culture of collaboration and encourage creative, customer- oriented thinking.
Recruit, train, and develop a dynamic and effective sales team.
Set clear sales targets for each team member, monitor progress, and support them in achieving their goals.
Product Development:
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the services meet or exceed customer expectations, offering unique and memorable experiences.
Maintain and expand relationships with partners to offer a diverse range of support packages.
Analyze customer needs to tailor and develop products that align with client expectations.
Sales and Customer Relations:
Collect and share market and industry information to capture business opportunities.
Promote and sell all services.
Maintain customer information and reporting in line with standards.
Efficiently produce quotations, send contracts, and follow up with customers.
Maintain and grow customer relationships through various sales methods.
Plan and execute action plans to support revenue generation and outperform competitors.
Manage allocated accounts to develop innovative revenue approaches and expand the customer base.
Develop and execute sales plans with approval from the Director.
Build and distribute any sales collateral required to elevate the customer interest as required.
Follow pricing and contracting guidelines with support from the Director.
Operational Support:
Handle guest feedback or complaints.
Ensure effective communication between all related teams to ensure smooth customers’ experiences.
Assist the Operations department in following up on group sales details.
Ensure correct rate loading in systems/channels.
Maximize sales and accurately forecast revenue.
Strategic and Analytical Support:
Support the forecasting and budgeting processes as guided by the Director.
Analyze tourist sources and expand channels.
Support the Director in analyzing competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
Assist in developing the commercial strategy for sales- managed segments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Propose and coordinate the implementation of marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and attract potential customers.
Execute any other duties as assigned by the Director.
Monitor and analyze the results of sales and marketing campaigns to optimize future sales strategies.
Design new products based on market demand, set sales targets, and manage related publicity and sales.
Develop sales support tools, including sales materials, marketing collateral, and digital resources to enhance the sales team’s effectiveness.
