Security Engineer

A day in your life might include:

Conduct research to identify new security holes against Timo’s products and services by proactively collaborating with software engineers to fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
Implement programs to proactively detect and reduce potential threats and strengthen the TIMO security resilience.
Working the third party to develop and maintain an incident response plan, including procedures for reporting, investigating, and mitigating security incidents.
Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery.
Conduct investigations of vulnerability reports, triage, and reproducing issues.

What we need from you:

Strong knowledge of OWASP’s methodologies, documentation, tools, and technologies.
Bachelor or master&039;s degree in computer science, Networking, Security other related fields.
Experience with security compliance standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
Have at least 3 years of work experience related to Security engineering. preferably in the banking or financial industry.
Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and practices, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, access control, and risk management.
Experience with security testing tools, such as OWASP ZAP , Metasploit, SonarQube ,Burp Suite, NMAP
Teamwork and collaboration to work effectively with development, operations, and security teams.
Certification in AWS, security, or related fields, such as AWS Certified Security- Specialty, CISSP, CEH, or OSCP, is a plus.
Experience with AWS cloud security services and tools, such as IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, WAF, Shield, and GuardDuty.
