Senior Associate, Research

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Portfolio Managers in evaluating investment deals, including private placements and IPO auctions, and conducting thorough financial due diligence prior to executing any deals.
Effectively communicate investment ideas to Portfolio Managers, providing them with well- researched and compelling recommendations.
Collaborate with the Head of Research to identify stocks with strong investment potential and prepare comprehensive stock recommendation reports for both listed stocks and private companies.
Conduct thorough industry research, utilizing various methods such as desktop research, interviews with industry experts, networking, and evaluating industry reports from professional providers. Additionally, develop and maintain an industry database.
Assist Portfolio Managers in presenting investment ideas to Investment Committees, ensuring clear and persuasive presentations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly when engaging with senior management, investment teams, and investment committees.
Passionate, diligent, highly analytical, and possesses a strong spirit of teamwork.
Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Exceptional written communication abilities in Vietnamese and English.
Preferred expertise in covering financial sectors, such as Banking, Brokerage, and Insurances.
Minimum of three years of experience working in equity investment or as a research analyst for fund management companies, securities firms, or corporate finance advisors.
Bachelor&039;s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
Proficient use of financial tools
