Senior Automation Engineer (Electrical)

JOB SUMMARY
- Be responsible creating and building, co- ordinate with supplier for various automated machines. Design electrical, simulate concept and test automated machinery and processes to complete exact tasks.
- Be responsible to design schematics for automation components using CAD software and analyze production processes to assess automation’s best use cases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
• Develop and execute performance test scripts specific to the product needs.
• Work on custom automation solutions to support the team.
• Develop and deliver training on new automation systems and methodologies to all required stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and training to other automation resources.
• Managing the rollout with the automation vendor&039;s implementation plan & follow up. Able to coach & monitor the automation vendors to meet the effective time, cost & quality target.
• Strong at automation trouble shooting ability & continuous improvement.
• Automation assembly buy off & validation & testing development & implementation to improve the process capability & testing detectability.
• Quick response & handling for production line down issues. Monitor system performance and communicate issues appropriately.
• Planning, organizing, monitoring, and oversight of all phases of test automation.
• Work with new project team to ensure the new product design for assembly & automation during the product & process development stages.
• Strong at automation machine design & fabrication & assembly & testing. More Specific to Electrical side.
• Implement improvements with measurable results in savings, revenue, or quality.
• Introduce new automation development & roll out to drive for continuous quality and production efficiency improvement.

At least 3 years or above relevant working experiences with advantage of PLC control system or programming knowledges.
Be familiar with automation design, process control and testing.
Knowledgeable of project tracking and understanding of project governance and reporting.
Be familiar with automation control systems & programming.
Good at English (verbal & written)
Apply quality methodologies and tools (FMEA, DOE, MSA, SPC etc.).
University bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronic Engineering or related.
