Senior Business Analyst

ABOUT THE JOB
As a Senior Business Analyst within NAB, you’ll engage stakeholders to shape and break down initiatives for Agile Engineering squads, while managing prioritization of user stories with Product Owners and User Experience Teams.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the business to analyse business requirements and produce documented and approved specifications for any new or change to technology applications and/or business processes.
Apply strong Business Analysis skills and methodologies to ensure that what is produced is aligned and value maximized for our customers.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Domain, Technology and Business Product Owner.
Maximize the value being delivered by ensuring all features and stories are aligned to business value.
Assess existing processes to identify redesign or enhancement opportunities to deliver improved productivity or efficiency to the business.
Supports Developers, Engineers and UX designers in understanding the requirements so they can deliver on their commitments.
Works with the Product Owner to refine the backlog of the team through prioritization, estimation and decision making.
Represent the project team at workshops, presentations, and other meetings as appropriate.
Engage and discuss with the related stakeholders on the status of a project, as well as constantly ensure the requirements are understood by the team.

Must have

Extensive experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with HCD techniques.
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal & written) and strong presentation capabilities.
Previous experience as a Business Analyst (minimum 7 years)
Comfortable leading workshops, in a cross functional business and IT team through the discovery, development and operational usage stage of change.
Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content.
Experience in the UI/UX or understanding of user- centric mindset.
Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams and working with product owner to develop it into a shaped backlog of key features, epics stories and goals for individual sprints.
Proven analytical skills and evidence- based decision making.
Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships.
Experience in banking, fintech and financial domain (please list down projects or your domain knowledge in the resume).

Nice- to- have

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related area
Any additional certification or training in BA, PO, UX or related area (e.g. PSPO, CSPO, CBAP)
