Senior Business Analyst, Global Supply Chain ECommerce Platform (Up To 30 Months Of Annually Package)

We are creating a comprehensive eCommerce Platform that features solutions for Inventory, Catalogs, Logistics,... Here are some examples:

Centralize payment gateways for managing transactions and after- payment business (such as refunds, chargebacks, claims, inquiries,..)
Build a seamless and interconnected supply- chain system by integrating advanced 3rd- party services for inventory management, catalog synchronization, logistics tracking, and more.

The Business Analyst will serve as a key link between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful development of products that meet user requirements. The role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and collaborating with the Product Manager, stakeholders, and cross- functional teams to deliver effective and user- centric e- commerce solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

E- commerce Expertise: Utilize in- depth knowledge and experience with platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, Tiki, and similar ecosystems to develop and deliver tailored, industry- relevant solutions.
Problem Solving: Conduct thorough analysis to identify underlying issues, determine root causes, and develop strategic, actionable solutions to address challenges effectively.
UAT Test Scenarios & Support: Develop test scenarios for UAT and provide essential support to clients during the UAT phase, ensuring solutions meet their needs accurately.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with the Product Manager/Owner and Business Owner in scoping, estimating, and planning projects. Manage project change requests efficiently to adapt to evolving requirements.
Data Analysis: Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. Utilize data analysis expertise to support decision- making and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Cross- functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams, including UX/UI designers for creating design mockups and wireframes, to facilitate seamless communication and project execution.
Documentation & SDLC Support: Produce comprehensive system/feature specifications, user stories/backlogs, business rules, and wireframes. Maintain crucial documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
UI/UX: Provide input and mentorship on UI/UX best practices, ensuring designs meet business objectives and user needs effectively.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and documentation capabilities, essential for effective stakeholder engagement and project documentation.
Analytical Thinking & Problem- Solving: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a growth mindset focused on embracing challenges and continuous learning.
Adaptability & Patience: A willingness to listen, stay calm, and patiently advocate for ideas across diverse groups, facilitating consensus and project advancement.
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, demonstrating proficiency in handling business requirements from users and exceptional written communication in English.
Software Development Process Knowledge: A deep understanding of the software development process, especially in software requirement analysis, to ensure the delivery of accurate and viable solutions.
E- commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with tools and platforms relevant to e- commerce, logistics, inventory, and warehouse management systems (e.g., Odoo, Salesforce).
UI/UX: Foundational understanding of UI/UX principles, including usefulness at a junior level and usability at an entry level, with a willingness to mentor and guide junior team members in these areas.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent, laying the foundational knowledge required for this role.
Business Intelligence/Data Analysis: Proven experience in data analysis with a minimum of 6 months of hands- on practice, demonstrating the ability to derive actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications (but not required)

Lean Startup & Agile Frameworks: Experience in Product companies that utilize Lean Startup and Agile/Scrum frameworks, promoting flexible and iterative product development.
Tech- Startup Environment: Background in working within tech- startup environments, adaptable to rapid changes and dynamic work culture.
eCommerce & Retail Industry Experience: Prior exposure to the eCommerce and Retail sectors, bringing valuable insights into customer needs and market trends.
