Summary Of Role
As an integral member of the IT FX/ MFG4.0 Solution Portfolio team, the candidate needs to apply a high level of business systems analysis expertise in the Manufactory area. The candidate should have working knowledge on a manufacturing environment. Besides having extensive knowledge of Manufactory domain, Manufactory Execution System Production Scheduling/ Internet Of Things digital solutions, also need process/ digital solution Understanding with Supply Chain/ costing domains such as Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse, Shipping, Transportation, Work in Process, Bills of Materials, and Purchasing, Standard costing would be an advantage. The candidate would lead analysis for conversion of existing legacy data, lead regression testing, and provide analyses and specifications for development work for any new or changed system requirements, to train, implement, and support business processes. Documents business policies, practices and procedures to meet company standards and user needs. Leverages existing system&039;s standard functionality to implement efficient and consistent Avery Dennison Global processes and procedures. Brings a level of functional and technical knowledge of Manufactory Execution System/ Advance Production Scheduling Digital Solutions.
Job Responsibilities
• Provides Leadership and support for Apparel MES/APS global solution design & implementation/ rollout project execution from Business Process & Digital solution perspective.
• Escalates issues to management for support and/or guidance.
• Develops and prepares training materials and best of class procedures for Manufactory & constraint planning including day to day transactions, operation analysts. Delivers formal training to end users who are changing processes in an existing system.
• Support system coding and configuration changes for automated document production efforts.
• Translate business objectives into requirements and functional specifications, supporting document creation and automation efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document and understand requirements.
• Manage portfolio of projects end to end, ensuring all deliverables are met.
• Participates and provides full and complete regression testing of system changes for patches and upgrades including working with Software Suppliers to diagnose and resolve problems with the MES system. In addition, tests and prepares new functionality as made available or as business requirements indicate. Ensures patches and upgrades are applied prior to production implementation.
• Document business processes, work- flows and requirements as they relate to the problems being solved by the initiative.
• Utilize business analysis, data mapping and data validation to assist the development of coding specifications.
• Provides support to end users for Supply Chain/ Manufactory modules and processes including interfacing with third party systems, like MES, Shipping.
• Provide subject matter expertise, working to define business processes and effective solutions.
• Strong competence in developing presentations required (Google Docs, Presentations, and sheets. Strong Competence of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)) is ok as we can train on Google.
• Monitors project dates and meets individual deliverables as well as support other team members.
• Effectively leads change, working with key- stakeholders including management and end users to ensure involvement, participation, and encouragement of others ideas and contributions for effective teamwork and project completion.
• Prepares test and training plans. Develops training materials and delivers formal training for each new site being brought on- line with the system in Avery Dennison’s Solution Group Division.
• Analyze data extracts and complete data mapping.
• Manages the execution of testing for assigned deliverables; identify and document test defects, document quality issues and communicate defects to assure resolution.
• Manage defect resolution throughout the system development life cycle.
• Partner with IT/Vendor resources to review specifications and coordinate approvals.
