Senior Cage Cashier

Position Summary: The Senior Cage Cashier is responsible for overseeing and performing cash transactions within the casino environment, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with gaming regulations. This role involves supervising junior cashiers, managing large transactions, balancing cash drawers, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cash handling, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast- paced environment.

Handle large transactions and verify their accuracy.
Oversee and perform cash transactions with customers in a prompt and accurate manner.
Prepare and review daily reports and reconciliations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Collaborate with security and surveillance teams to maintain the integrity of cash operations.
Supervise and assist junior cashiers in their daily tasks.
Conduct regular audits and inventory counts.
Exchange currency, chips, and Tito tickets for cash.
Support the Cage Supervisor and other team members as needed.
Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures related to cash handling.
Maintain and balance multiple cash drawers, ensuring accurate counts and secure handling.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Train new cashiers on proper procedures and protocols.
Adhere to anti- money laundering policies and reporting procedures.
Report any discrepancies, unusual transactions, or suspicious activities to the Cage Supervisor.

Requirement:

Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cash handling or customer service, with prior experience in a supervisory role preferred.
Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
