Responsibilities
Configure and manage networking: VPCs, subnets, Cloud VPN, Load Balancers, and Palo Alto VM- Series firewalls.
Implement and manage API Gateway solutions with Apigee and apply security measures using Cloud Armor and Security Command Center.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across GCP services.
Automate deployment and manage continuous delivery pipelines using Argo CD and Terraform.
Deploy and manage GCP services such as Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud SQL, Elasticsearch, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and Service Mesh (Istio).
Implement and manage secure identity and access controls, including SSO, MFA, and IAM best practices.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (or Terragrunt).
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with GCP services.
Participate in on- call support rotations.
Monitor infrastructure using Google Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Policy Intelligence for performance, security, and cost optimization.
Apply DevSecOps practices to ensure compliance with security frameworks and data protection regulations.
Use KMS and Secret Manager for secure key and secret management.
Build and maintain secure, scalable GCP infrastructure, including Landing Zone and Hub- and- Spoke network architectures.
Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
