Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Oversee the implementation and management of security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
Develop and implement a robust cyber security strategy aligned with the company&039;s goals and industry best practices.
Coordinate and lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, recovery, and post- incident analysis.
Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team on the status of the company&039;s cyber security posture.
Lead and manage the cyber security team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across all digital and BPO operations.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and adapt the security strategy as needed.

Requirements:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective cyber security strategies.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
Bachelor’s degree, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
At least 4- 5 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 1- 2 years in a leadership role.
