Senior Data Analyst Officer

Data Collection and Analysis:

Interpret complex data to provide actionable insights to support decision- making processes.
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to risk assessment.
Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Reporting and Visualization:

Generate regular reports and ad- hoc analyses to support business decision- making.
Create visually appealing and easy- to- understand reports, charts, and graphs using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Automate reporting processes to deliver timely and accurate insights to the organization.
Maintain risk reports.

Data Cleansing and Validation:

Support governance and amendment of scripts, procedures and jobs across departments who are utilizing Data Warehouse.
Ensure data integrity by performing data validation and quality checks.
Work with data engineering teams to resolve data quality issues and improve data collection processes.

Others:

Collaborate with cross- functional teams & related parties to gather relevant data and insights.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in risk management and data analysis.

Ability to practice logical reasoning and independent thinking in supporting management’s decision making.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer Science, or related discipline.
Strong analytical skill, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
Proven experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL.
2+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, or a related field, preferably in banking or financial sectors.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
Good understanding of Data Warehouse/ Data Mart/ Database practices.
Experience with statistical methods, and data visualization tools.
Good written and spoken English.
