Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS & PostgreSQL)

Ensure cloud security practices (IAM, Security Groups, Secrets Manager, compliance policies).
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Collaborate with development teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability.
Set up monitoring and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, or other tools.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, replication, backup/restore, and high availability configuration.
Automate operational processes and improve the efficiency of deployment workflows across staging and production environments.
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.).

Must Have

At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL administration: query tuning, partitions, replication, PITR, backup/recovery.
Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
Solid experience with CI/CD tools.
Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Good understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
Strong knowledge of networking, monitoring, and logging systems.
Proficiency in Docker; experience with Kubernetes/EKS is a strong advantage.
Strong hands- on experience with AWS cloud services.

Nice to Have

Experience working with microservices- based architectures.
Knowledge of message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
Experience with high- traffic, large- scale distributed systems.
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator).
