Senior IT Magento Developer

Magento Development:

Collaborate with front- end developers to implement visually appealing and functional user interfaces.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the platform.
Develop, customize, and maintain e- commerce platforms (Magento 2).

Integration & Customization:

Integrate third- party services and APIs to enhance website functionality (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM systems).
Customize Magento extensions and modules to meet specific business requirements.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth navigation.
Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.

Maintenance & Support:

Monitor the performance of e- commerce websites and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Stay updated with the latest Magento updates and security patches, applying them as necessary.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the stability and security of the platform.

Educational Background:

Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

Experience:

Strong problem- solving skills and attention to detail.
Proven track record of developing and launching successful e- commerce web/ app.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast- paced environment.
Passion for staying current with emerging technologies and industry developments.
At least 5 years of experience in Magento and E- commerce platform development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with performance optimization and SEO best practices.
Experience with integrating third- party services and APIs.

Knowledge:

In- depth understanding of e- commerce industry trends and best practices.
Knowledge of Magento architecture, themes, and modules.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
Understanding of security best practices and data protection.

Additional Considerations:

AWS certifications (Cloud practitioner, Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, or experience with AWS is plus.
Experienced with other e- commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) is a plus.
Magento certifications (e.g., Magento Certified Developer) are highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
Familiarity with front- end technologies and frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap, Knockout.js).
Proficiency in Magento 2 development, including module and theme development.
Experience with caching management, page loading performance.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Github.
