Senior Legal Counsel (Manager Level) Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex

* Legal
- Draft and review all kinds of commercial contracts in compliance with Samsung’s policies and applicable laws and to protect Samsung’ best interest as requested by Head of Group/Part or a senior member.
- Have knowledge of corporate governance.
- Have knowledge of Hi- tech certification, R&D conditions, and related regulations.
- Have deep knowledge and understanding of customs regulations, customs procedures, EPE, AEO, and have experience on dealing with customs issues.
- Provide advice on general corporate, regulatory, administrative and other legal matters as requested by Head of Group/Part or a senior member.
- Have knowledge of CIT, tax incentives, and tax audit.
- Have knowledge of the Labor Code and related regulations.
- Provide day- to- day legal advice as requested by other departments or as instructed by Head of Group/Part or a senior member.
- Have knowledge of investment capital and related regulations.
- Have experience of dealing with criminal issues.
- Accurately and appropriately prepare legal documents, official letters in both English and Vietnamese.
* Compliance
- Conduct non- compliance investigation and internal audit in respect of labor and workplace safety laws, international human rights standards, and/or the vendor/supplier code of conduct.
- Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising on compliance potential risks.
- Draft compliance- related reports as required by HQ.
- Conduct compliance training as scheduled by HQ and as required by BOD.
- Provide update on new laws and regulations and evaluate the impact.
- Maintain documentation of compliant, timely and practical advice.

- Other jobs assigned by Group/Part Leader.
- Review, revise, negotiate, and manage contracts on the contract management systems (ECMS).
- Provide training and development to junior lawyers.
- Submit dossier to government agencies and communicate with them.

- Must be proficient with MS office programs.
- Experience in providing training in antitrust, anti- corruption, sexual harassment, data privacy, etc.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Must have excellent English and Vietnamese skills (both written and verbal); ability to read and write Korean is a plus.

- Experience in legal profession and compliance matters with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm.
