Senior Manager Infrastructure & Operation

The Senior Manager- Infrastructure & Operation manages and coordinates all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs, responsible for standardization and monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance and stability. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability and the development of new applications. Develops and manages enterprise system infrastructure & Data Centres across locations.
What you do:

Responsible for user access reviews including developing a policy and procedure around reviewing user access for the core and all critical applications.
Manage Backups & Disaster Recovery. Provides leadership and guidance for Disaster Recovery testing and support.
Ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of the infrastructure through proactive monitoring and regular maintenance activities.
Ensure IT infrastructure architecture, solutions, and technologies are aligned with the organisation&039;s vision and strategy.
Implement and enforce security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and data encryption, to protect the organization&039;s infrastructure and data.
Review operational strategies, policies and targets across teams and projects, oversee the development of learning roadmaps for teams and functions
Guide the formulation of a roadmap to transition the organisation towards its future- state IT infrastructure.
Manage System, Network, Hardware & Software Documentation.
Manages communication with stakeholders and IT management ensuring daily priorities are in line with department goals.
Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, storage systems, and other infrastructure components.
Handle all system & network design and monitoring.

Qualifications

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical, Information Systems with hands- on experience.
Strong time management skills to meet all deadlines.
7+ years as an Infrastructure leader with strong knowledge and experience in IT networking field and enough capability to operate IT system.
Windows Server 2016/19 Server administration, MCSA, MCSE.
Works independently.
Linux operating systems: Proficiency in Linux operating systems, Firewall Linux, capable of independent installation, configuration, and operation, CentOS, Ubuntu, Suse Linux.
Active Directory AAD administration (including DNS/DHCP/Group Policy etc)
Microsoft Azure, O365, AWS
Communication Proficiency, Problem Solving/Analysis.
Familiarity with retail systems, IoT, automation and industry- specific infrastructure requirements is highly desirable.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
LAN / WAN / TCP- IP / Firewalls / Switching/ Routing configuration and admin, CCNP, CCIE.
