Senior Network Engineer

Job description
Network (70%):

Optimize network performance by analyzing metrics and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and speed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Monitor and test application performance to identify potential bottlenecks and work with developers to resolve them.
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration details.
Configure, manage, and operate VPN (S2S) connections for customers.
Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Configure, manage, and operate MPLS connections for customers.
Manage and operate network devices (Cisco, Fortinet, HP Aruba, etc.), including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.

System & Infrastructure (30%):

Install and maintain hardware, systems, and necessary applications for work.
Manage and operate virtualization systems (VMWare, Proxmox).
Manage and operate CCTV systems.
Troubleshoot servers and associated systems.
Configure and operate PBX systems (Asterisk, Elastix).
Manage and operate storage hardware (DELL, Synology).
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Manage and maintain server hardware (HPE, DELL, IBM).
Manage and operate server services (DHCP, DNS, File Server, AD, etc.).

Working time: 8h00- 17h50 (Mon- Fri)

Certifications are a plus, but practical experience is highly valued.
Strong experience with Cisco switches, FortiGate firewalls, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, AD, and file sharing.
Willingness to work outside normal business hours.
Good command of English (advantageous).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem- solving skills.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Rocky Linux).
Solid background in network administration.
Availability to work overtime during project phases and willingness to travel for business if required.
Understanding of systems for monitoring, tracking, and analyzing data connections/traffic through network transmission lines.
