Objective of role:
Senior Employment Relations Executive will be in charge of controlling office and recruitment activities to ensure efficient work and smooth work processes.
Detailed responsibilities/accountabilities
Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
Handle employee complaints and grievances, conducting thorough and impartial investigations to determine the accuracy and validity of the claims.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including Legal, HR, and other stakeholders, to develop and implement effective employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures.
Analyze employee data and trends to identify potential issues or areas of improvement, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with labour unions or employee representative groups, if applicable, and participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives, including employee recognition programs, surveys, and activities that foster a positive company culture.
Other related tasks as required
Manage and control department budget.
Conduct training programs and workshops for employees and managers to promote a positive work environment, diversity and inclusion, and compliance with legal requirements.
Stay updated on employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to employee relations, making recommendations for policy updates or changes as necessary.
Provide guidance and support to management and human resources staff in addressing employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Mediate and facilitate resolutions in complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, harassment and discrimination allegations, and workplace conflicts.
Senior Employee Relations Specialist Required Skills
Solid understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to navigate challenging employee relations situations.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs related to employee relations and compliance.
Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
In- depth knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and maintain strict confidentiality
Senior Employee Relations Specialist Required Qualifications
In- depth knowledge of local and national labour laws and regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in handling complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Human Resources
Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with the ability to provide guidance and support to HR staff and management.
