Senior QA Executive (QA QC, Tester)

• Assist the Service manager in driving Service management best- practice and ITIL process standardization.
• Collect data and provide the performance report for all related ITIL processes weekly.
• Manage and conduct all testing processes including UAT, OAT and SAT.
• Conduct historical analyses of test results.
• Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem- free operations.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Manage Release and Deploy process to ensure quality of the release on production environment.
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Define, document, and manage the testing processes and procedures to ensure reliability and compliance with standards
• Manage Service Desk team including SDA as a single point contact of user to fulfill the requests.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Design and manage test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Collaborate with field staff to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
• Manage Incident Management process and communicate resolutions with stakeholders.
• Ensure that the testing environment is qualified compared to the production environment.

Educational level• Bachelor’s (or above) degree in the field of computer science or information systems.
Knowledge & Experiences
• Prior success using a metrics- driven approach and closed- loop feedback to improve software deliverables and improve predictability and reliability of releases.
• Familiarity with entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity).
• At least 5 years’ experience in software development and/or systems management.
• Understanding of multi- tier web application architecture and deployment.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to support various development methodologies.
• Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes.
• Having ITIL certificates or working on ITIL processes is preferred.
Technical skills
• Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
• Proven automation testing, with API and web UI with various programming languages.
• Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found.
• Proven performance and security testing, with detail scenarios definition and knowledge, evaluate system performance health.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem- solving abilities.
Soft skills
• Highly self- motivated and directed.
• Detail oriented, extremely responsive, and able to prioritize many tasks.
• Self- motivated, works well independently and with others.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high- pressure environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
