JOB PURPOSEAs a Quality Assurance Specialist at Yes4All, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous testing, analysis, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem- solving skills, and a commitment to upholding quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
Level 2: The person is assigned the right to present the direct superior what is intent to do and seek guidance before deciding
Level 4: The person is assigned all the rights of decision and not have to report working results to direct superior except the request
Level 3: The person is assigned the right to directly solve the problems and report on the works & results achieved
Level 1: The person is assigned the right determine issues, make the solution, identify the benefits and risks of each solution and propose an optimal solution to superior for approval
Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures to evaluate product functionality, performance, and reliability. Record and document test results, including defects and deviations from expected behavior.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the QA function. Propose and implement process improvements, including updates to testing procedures, automation initiatives, and adoption of best practices. Monitor and measure the impact of process improvements, including metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and testing cycle time.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and support to team members on QA processes and methodologies specific to outdoor products. Develop training materials, including documentation and presentations, to support training initiatives. Organize knowledge- sharing sessions to facilitate peer learning and collaboration within the QA team.
Documentation Management: Maintain accurate documentation of testing activities, results, and findings. Organize and catalog test artifacts in a document management system or repository for easy access and retrieval. Review and validate documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards and guideines.
Defect Identification and Documentation: Conduct defect analysis and accurately document identified issues. Prioritize defects based on severity, impact on functionality, and business priorities. Document defects in a defect tracking system, including detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and supporting evidence.
Cross- functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure alignment on quality standards. Coordinate testing activities with development teams to ensure adequate test coverage and timely resolution of defects. Act as a liaison between QA and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration on quality- related issues.
