Senior QC Engineer (Manual)

Responsibilities

Test Strategy Development: Design and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross- functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure the delivery of high- quality products.
Testing Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects through their lifecycle using defect tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine testing processes to improve the overall quality and efficiency of the IT department.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QC engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Risk Assessment: Evaluate project risks and implement testing procedures to mitigate potential issues.
Quality Metrics: Define, collect, and report key quality metrics to track the progress and effectiveness of the QA process.
Automation Framework: Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

Over 4 years of working experience as a Manual Tester.
Have experience in leading a team, planning, and reviewing...
Extensive experience with both manual and automated testing.
Ability to apply process testing for the initial process phase.
Strong communication skills, both in teamwork and independence.
Strong background in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, LoadRunner).
Ability to do manual testing, DB testing, and API testing.
Experience in E- commerce website testing or multiple websites.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills.
Understanding of web and software development processes.
Familiarity with the Agile Scrum software development process and software testing phases.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high- quality work.
Proficiency in test planning and estimation to ensure effective and efficient testing processes.
Good English language skills are a plus.
