Produce and pursue sales leads for the property in the relevant and assigned market segment or areas of responsibility
Implement the agreed tactical sales plans that focus on market niches and segments identified in the marketing plan
Sell at a price approved for certain room types.
Work with, develop positive relationship with, communicate with and coordinate activities with other employees in Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and Human Resources.
Maintain customer profile and customer files
Provide timely reports or assignments delegated by superior
Make appropriate number of calls on prospects versus customers. Identify potential growth areas, and open new accounts.
Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
Target setting to identify present & potential revenue, cost to sell and probability of success.
Servicing of in- house guests/ residents
Other duties and projects as assigned by the Director of Sales.
Maintain responsibility for and optimize the designated portfolio of accounts
Prepare written reports, presentations and proposals
Communicate competitive information.
Daily sales call report (update daily before going home in PC- individual shared folder for submission to DOS’s checking)
Site inspection – conduct whenever necessary and liaison with property operations
Maintain close, frequent and open communications within and across properties on accounts and prospective customers
Communicate effectively; cooperate with fellow salespeople and management.
After each call fill in daily planner (use excel form on PC on intranet)
Plan each day, week and month (prepare & submit itinerary to DOS)
Plan each call (set appointment, qualify account, clarify objective, complete sales kits).
Complete and submit credit applications for new accounts
Process all reservations and lease agreement in a timely and efficient manner
Meet and exceed sales targets; achieve maximum sales in assigned area/ territory.
Comply with all company policies and procedures and operate within the expense budget
Provide timely information flows in accordance with the required sales administration process
Monitor and develop assigned accounts to ensure the achievement of sales targets and practices yield management
Submit the following in a timely manner: daily reports, sales plans, target setting, zone analysis, expense reports.
