Senior Software Test Engineer/Test Lead

Test strategy development:

Join the development team to review/categorize requirements
Define test strategy based on requirements and App/software design
Learn new tools and technology to support test execution as needed

Test suite development:

Define Manual test suites for Functional (User Acceptance testing/Smoke testing) and Non- Functional Stress testing/Performance testing/Compatibility Testing, Integration testing)
Maintenance/Inherit/Improve Test suites from others/older, bring it into the current project if any
Provide estimation and timeline of testing which aligns with the project timeline
Set up test tool, test environment for a new project

Test execution:

Acceptance, Smoke, Integration and SW component/function testing, etc..
Make Test reports (including Test Checklist) for each round/phase testing
Assign testing tasks to members and track (for long- term when we expand the Test team in the future)
Check and execute SW/App following Readme/product guideline
Support to point out the root cause of issues
Perform several testing based on defined Manual test suites for the User
Raise defects if any to the Development team to fix

Yêu cầu công việc

Required

Minimum 5 years of hands- on experience in Software Testing
Knowledge/experience in both Manual and Automation testing
Programing language: C/C++, Python/Java/Shell script
Experience in a full cycle of software development
Experience in analyzing specification requirements, developing, performing test cases, and creating testing reports
Strong leadership and logical thinking so as to define test process and discuss/struggle with development team
Testing Qualification: ISTQB or equivalent
Strong experience with Jenkins and setting up autonomous testing environments

Optional (Preferred)

Good teamwork and communication skills.
Management skills are a plus
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to test and troubleshoot errors
Background in AI is an advantage
Willingness to understand and embrace new technologies and methodologies.
