Senior Specialist, Application Support - Securities

JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Specialist will be responsible for the daily operation and troubleshooting of company applications, including analyzing issues, coordinating with vendors and the regional project team on application requests, and providing user support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Operations

Participate in the analysis and development of information technology projects;
Troubleshooting and analyzing matters relate to application, database (MS SQL, DB2, Informix)
Operate, ensure the company applications to operate stably and continuously.
Deployment, training in the use of new software systems, compiling documents.
Communicate with application vendors to resolve issues
System administration and operating software support on platforms Windows, Linux.

IT Project

Communicate and implement project initiated by Regional Project
Deployment and operations new systems upon request
Install new project servers (Windows, Linux, MS SQL)

Compliance to Incident Management and Change Management
Incident Management:

Ensure all incidents are raised and reported properly
Proper solution is implemented and documentation

Change Management:

Ensure changes are raised and documented follow Change Management process
Ensure team members understand their roles and execute correctly
Work with Business to identify, advise and enhance the implementation of change.
Working closely with Product & Delivery Team, and vendors to ensure changes are met Business expectations.
Ensure changes of critical systems are tested via phases SIT, UAT prior to implementing to Production

IT Support

Receive user requests, keep track and support
Manage IT User request

Others
All other tasks/duty assigned by Head of IT

Qualifications:

University degree in Information Technology or equivalent education and experience
At least 05 years of experience in similar position at a Securities/Finance Company
Ability to write Bash script, Python and having skill in DevOps is preferred
Certification of CCNP, MCSE is an advantage

Competencies:

Basic knowledge of networks and operating systems
Knowledge of one of the data management systems: MS SQL, DB2, Informix...
Passionate about researching new technologies
Good communication skills, able to work independently or in a team
Having knowledge in securities, finance is an advantage
Diligent and careful
