Senior Strategy Collection Specialist - ID1386 - TA185

To ensure debt collection efficiency consistently meets established KPIs while maintaining VPBank’s non- performing loan ratio within regulatory thresholds, VPBank must continuously update its debt collection policies, processes, and systems in a timely and accurate manner across all segments, particularly the retail customer segment, which constitutes a significant portion of VPBank’s current portfolio. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing and monitoring VPBank’s debt collection activities to ensure ongoing compliance with VPBank’s internal regulations and applicable legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in or lead projects related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, collateral recovery, etc.
Collaborate on headcount budgeting for the debt collection department.
Review the effectiveness of debt collection systems and processes.
Conduct audits of debt collection activities; provide feedback to the Head of Collection Strategy and Collection Center Directors regarding issues identified during strategy execution, and recommend measures to strengthen operational discipline.
Refine debt collection strategies; propose and organize pilot implementations of new strategies.
Propose enhancements to increase automation levels, labor productivity, and transparency in debt collection operations.
Assess limitations and areas for improvement in current debt collection processes and systems, and propose solutions to enhance debt collection effectiveness.
Analyze debt collection performance and recommend improvements in both strategy and operations.
Initiate Champion- Challenger testing programs, including proposal development, coordination with Collection Centers, implementation oversight, and results evaluation.
Develop personal capabilities with strong expertise, high motivation, and ensure timely work completion.
Establish reporting standards for debt collection operations.

Required competencies: Analytical skills, critical thinking, data analysis skills (SQL proficiency)
Language requirements: Strong reading and writing skills in English; basic listening and speaking abilities
Knowledge of operational processes, systems, and debt collection activities (including early and late- stage collections)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Banking and Finance, including at least 2 years in Debt Management/Collection Strategy Management or Business Analysis (debt collection domain), with experience in Risk Management (particularly related to debt collection metrics).
