Service Sales Engineer

Conduct site surveys, measurements, and attend pre- bid walkthroughs.
Track project progress and provide status reports to management.
Follow company policies and safety regulations.
Source, negotiate with suppliers/vendors, and compile supplier quotations.
Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for projects.
Participate in tender clarifications and interviews.
Assist in developing project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with the Manager.
Understand and evaluate scope of HVAC work for bidding purposes.
Research and recommend new technologies for project development.
Coordinate with Sales/Customer Consultants/management to prepare project proposals and contractual documents.
Perform project design, development, and sizing of equipment according to customer specifications.
Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Determine Bill of Quantity.
Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned.
Interact with sales/customer consultants and management to ensure projects are on budget, on time, and meet specifications.

Detail- oriented and able to meet deadlines consistently
Familiarity with commercial HVAC/Mechanical Contracting
Strong knowledge and experience in the HVAC/ACMV industry
Proficient in reading and comprehending mechanical drawings and other construction documents
Knowledge or experience in project management would be a valuable addition.
Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Building
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant experience
In- depth understanding of different types of HVAC systems and their components
Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
