We are looking for full-time developers including Junior Algorithm Engineers, Software Engineers, and Frontend/Backend Engineers. You will join an academic-based project led by Professor Kevin Chang, senior engineers at Cazoodle. You are expected to commit 40 hours/week (full-time position), physically in our office in Hanoi. We’ll have a probation period of two months and thereafter will renew/continue yearly, depending on performance, at the end of each term.
Overview:
Cazoodle specializes in building new search engines that aggregate information from thousands of online sources, creating a one stop-destination for users to quickly navigate through all their possible choices at once.
We are seeking software developers to join our team tasked with maintaining and developing not only our vertical search applications but also our crawling platform which helps collect and aggregate data from online sources.
Your role & responsibilities
- Developing software products, joining in one of more development phases from analysis, design, coding, testing to deployment and maintenance.
- Working closely with data engineers, business staff and other company departments to create/enhance internal software and improve work productivity.
- Collaborating with customer supports to address and resolve end-users’ technical inquiries
- Discovering ideas and innovations on both product ideas and technical solutions.
- Learning from leads and seniors to develop necessary skills and expertises towards building products.
Your skills & qualifications
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- Any experience working with the following development languages and frameworks, but not limited to: Python, PHP, Javascript, CSS, Java, C#; Django, Yii, SCSS, Bootstraps…
- Any experience working with databases and search engines. Familiarity with search indexers like SOLR or ElasticSearch is a plus.
- Good logical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Discipline to follow documentation requirements and conventions built by the team.
- Good communication skills. Can also communicate in English fluently.
- Any experience with building/implementing AI/ML/NLP/DM techniques such as word embedding, entity recognition, information extraction, large language models, and web search is a big plus.
* Pay:$750 - $1250/month (full-time) depending on qualification.
