Job Description:

Collect and analyze testing data to provide clear and concise status reports.
Report, track, and monitor defects using a defect tracking system, ensuring timely resolution.
Provide accurate effort estimates for assigned testing tasks.
Understand domain knowledge, specifications, and test plans to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Prepare and review test documentation.
Coordinate work activities to deliver products in high quality and on time.
Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases/test scripts.
Perform various types of testing, including but not limited to: Ad- Hoc, Functional, User Acceptance, System, Integration, End- to- End, Smoke, Sanity, and Regression testing.
Analyze and address issues relating to testing quality.
Participate actively in daily Scrum meetings, providing updates on testing progress and identifying potential blockers.

Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or a related field.
Candidates with a non- CS/IT background but strong practical experience and knowledge in software testing will also be considered.
Experience in manual testing for web- based applications, including creating and implementing test cases/scripts based on requirements, and estimating testing activities.
Experiences of quality control and software development process.
At least 1+ years of experience in a similar position.
Freshers with a good technical background and a strong passion for Software Test Engineering are also welcome.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken).
Positive attitude with excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams.
Good knowledge and experience in automation testing is a significant plus.
Test Certification (e.g., ISTQB) is desired but not mandatory.
