Arbin Instruments currently has vacancies for a self- driven, passionate and results focused Software Tester to be part of our specialist team that will be dedicated to ensure the quality of the software that supports the Arbin’s products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for taking ownership of significant parts of testing the application:
Writing test reports.
Actively and proactively learning about our products, the physics philosophy behind it, the logic and reason for those logic in the software (and relating firmware).
Understanding the features, propose test plans, writing test cases.
Reproduce reported issues, investigate, provide remote/on- site troubleshooting to customers.
Report bugs, improvement, new feature suggestion tickets with comprehensive info that helpful for development team to reproduce/investigate/implement.
Conducting the tests with hardware setup.
Writing automation testing harness, scripts.
Works harmoniously in a cross- functional team comprising managers, supervisors, developers, QA teams, customer service teams in ensuring the delivery of software solutions is qualified and timely.
Performs self project management tasks.

Primary Objectives

To add more QA/QC manpower on the development lifecycle of data processing applications to Arbin’s products

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficient in software automation and manual testing:
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
Possesses advanced functional or technical knowledge of complex problem- solving and process innovation.
Experience in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java or C.
High attention to detail and looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
Experience with test automation frameworks (eg. Robot Framework, Selenium, PlayWright).
Experience working with PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Cassandra.
Experience working with Jira Collaboration Tools.
Nice To Have Experience with Docker or Containerization.
Nice To Have Experience in Security for Web Development.

Education and Experience

Degree or equivalent experience: Bachelor or above.
Other requirements (certifications and so forth): No.
Years of experience: at least 5 years.
Specialized training in: Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related.
Active affiliations: No requirement.
English requirement: confident in reading and writing; listening/speaking fine for presentation, technical discussion.
Chinese language is a plus.

Working time: Monday- Friday 8:00- 17:30 , lunch time: 1,5 hour . Off on Saturday.
