Sourcing Specialist

Work with the Project Management team to determine material needs and quantities for each project.

Collect and organize contact details for suppliers and subcontractors, categorizing them by material quality and type.
Use technology to improve sourcing workflows, making procurement and cost tracking more efficient.
Assist the superior in preparing detailed scope- of- work documents and collecting quotes from subcontractors for comparison.
Track and manage procurement costs to ensure projects stay within budget, while handling all necessary paperwork and documentation.
Verify that materials align with project specifications, offering alternatives when needed to balance quality and cost.
Occasionally visit suppliers to collect samples, inspect materials, and ensure they meet project standards.
Identify customizable products while maintaining consistent style and quality.
Maintain a detailed inventory of material samples for reference in future projects.
Understand material pricing and cost factors to align with project budgets.
