KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability and delivery capabilities.
JOB SUMMARYPlay a critical role in the supply chain management process by identifying, evaluating, selecting and developing suppliers to meet the company&039;s procurement needs. Candidate will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost- effective acquisition of materials. Overall expectation to contribute to the overall efficiency and competitiveness of the organization.
- Negotiate contract, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve the best possible outcomes for the company.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as engineering, quality, finance, to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
Experience
Being able to think strategically and adapt to a fast- paced work environment.
Good spoken and written English communication, negotiation skills, analytical skills, problem- solving skills, proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.), proficiency with Oracle software.
Knowledge of supply chain management principles, market and industry, procurement process, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, quality assurance, risk management, analytical skills, project management, ethical sourcing and communication and interpersonal skills.
Other Abilities
Bachelor of Business Administration
Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience working for a multinational manufacturing company in Vietnam, preferably in a durable goods company and not soft goods such as textile/clothing industry.
