Supply Planning Specialist

The Supply Planning Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the sufficient materials for production at the optimal stock level. This role involves creating and monitoring supply plans and analyzing supply chain performance to meet the company’s inventory and production goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Ad- hoc tasks: assigned by the line manager.
Demand Forecasting: Analyse and build material forecast based on sales forecast, historical data, company strategy and marketing events to create accurate supply plans.
Inventory Management: Manage aging stock, inventory turnover to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and minimize stockouts.
Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Supply management: Create purchase requisition corresponding to product orders received, inventory, factory capacity and demand forecast; work closely with procurement executive to ensure timely delivery of materials, manage lead times, and resolve any supply issues.
Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement; generate reports to support decision- making processes.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in supply chain process improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions, explore the MRP & product order module in ERP system.
Cost Management: Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Production Scheduling: Coordinate with the Production team to align supply plans with production schedules, ensuring materials availability to meet production targets.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 years of experience in supply planning or a related role.
High integrity, highly organized and committed to deadline.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
Logical and critical thinking, detail oriented, open- minded, willing to learn and welcome to new challenges.
Proficiency in Office Tools, particularly Excel and Google sheet; basic knowledge of data analytics software (e.g: PowerBI), ERP is a plus.
