The primary responsibility is to be responsible to plan and execute the implementation of the IT initiatives in your country. Activities include requirements gathering, systems solutioning and configuration, conduct training, analysis and process improvements and implementing new processes and tools to streamline our implementations. You will represent your country as part of the APAC TMS Competency Community. As part of the team, you will also support the rollouts in other APAC countries and ensure that knowledge is shared across the TMS Competency Community.
The secondary responsibility is to be responsible for continuous improvement activities. The person will identify process improvement initiatives for current operations process. Activities include process review, time- motion study, executing LEAN initiatives and implementing the solutions.
The Land Transport Department is responsible for the management and growth of Schenker’s land transportation business. As part of our growth initiatives, we are implementing a multiple IT initiative as well as operational improvement across Asia Pacific.

Ensure that knowledge is effectively shared and maintained across the company
Recommending and implementing changes, and ensuring a successful transition to what’s new
Conduct industry research and liaise with IT stakeholders to implement new systems
Review of existing process and identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
Solution, configure and implement systems to meet business requirements
Train systems consultant, super- users and end- users
Create implementation toolkits, models and templates to streamline the implementation process
Continuously improve and develop innovative system solutions to support As- Is and To- Be Land product development
Monitoring of implementation and rollout of assigned projects

Report near misses to Manager / Supervisor
Skills Required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written (English); fluency in other Asian languages a plus
Keen eye for process improvement
Good mix of business and systems knowledge
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem- solving skills
Team player with a good working attitude and the ability to learn quickly
Experience and Qualifications
University degree in Logistics operation/Logistics engineering/Information Systems or IT- related discipline
1- year in logistics- related operations or systems implementation- related experience
Experience in transport management systems implementation especially BluJay LSP TMS a big plus
