Technical Lead Frontend / Backend

Act as the technical point of contact for the team, providing expertise in architecture, design, and implementation.
Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring stability and long- term maintainability.
Work closely with designers and artists to integrate game mechanics, assets, and features into the game world.
Lead the identification, resolution, and prevention of bugs and performance issues throughout the development cycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
The game’s architecture is modular, maintainable, and efficient, and able to scale as the user base grows.
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and scalability.
Project Planning and Coordination
Manage project resources and prioritize tasks to balance team workloads.
Collaborate closely with other leads (Game Designers, Artists, QA) to align development with the game’s vision and ensure a seamless experience.
Define and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team.
Participate in coding key modules, reviewing code, and ensuring product quality.
Ensure that all technical solutions align with the game’s vision and design requirements.
Design, architect, and maintain scalable and high- performance systems to support the game’s backend, servers, and infrastructure.
Ensure that development and testing processes are optimized for high- quality deliverables.
Mentor and train team members in both technical and professional skills.

Yêu cầu công việc

Familiarity with modern game design principles and trends in player experience.
Hands- on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience in leading technical teams in the development of complex games, preferably mobile titles.
A strong passion for gaming and a keen interest in emerging gaming technologies and trends.
Expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Javascript, Java, C++ and C is plus) and game development engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with frontend or backend technologies, including APIs, databases, and server- side infrastructure.
Strong understanding of game architecture, performance optimization, and memory management.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Ability to mentor and guide less- experienced team members, helping them grow in their roles.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, GitLab CI).
Strong problem- solving abilities, with a deep understanding of debugging, performance profiling, and optimization techniques.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2- 3 years in a leadership or senior development role in the gaming industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, inspire, and collaborate with a diverse team.
