Technical Lead TypeScript / Python / NodeJS / Java

We’re looking for a hands- on Tech Lead with broad engineering depth, proven delivery in European tech/logistics environments, and a pragmatic view on AI to accelerate product delivery. You’ll own technical direction, guide / mentor the team, and ship reliable features across our core modules.
What you’ll do

Set engineering standards: code quality, reviews, testing strategy, CI/CD, branching, and release discipline.
Technical advisory & stakeholder comms: run design reviews, demo progress to stakeholders, and de- risk decisions early.
Partner with Product to shape architecture and delivery for areas such as freight contract management, freight audit, tendering simulations, and analytics.
Data & analytics: ensure data pipelines, quality, versioning, and privacy are solid; enable insight- ready data for dashboards.
Translate requirements to execution: break down epics, scope work, estimate, and keep delivery on track.
Cloud & DevOps leadership: guide our evolution toward containerized workloads and modern IaC; ensure reliability, cost awareness, and scalability.
Team leadership: mentor engineers, recruit key hires, and foster a collaborative, ownership- driven culture across time zones.
Pragmatic AI enablement: identify, design, and ship AI/LLM use cases (e.g., document/contract parsing, anomaly detection in audits, QA/test generation, developer productivity) with measurable ROI and safe guardrails.
Own platform architecture: secure multi- tenant design, APIs, data models, and observability/SRE practices.

Must- have experience

Building secure multi- tenant apps (RBAC, OAuth/OIDC, encryption, logging).
Good communication in English (B2+); confident with customer- facing technical discussions.
5+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in a Tech Lead or similar leadership role shipping B2B SaaS
Broad hands- on background: backend (TypeScript/Node, Python, or Java), frontend (modern JS/TS frameworks), databases (relational + schema design), cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, CI/CD, and observability.
Demonstrated European market exposure (worked for EU product companies or shipped to EU enterprise customers) and/or logistics domains.

Nice to have

BI/analytics embedding experience.
Real, shipped AI/ML or LLM integrations or leadership in applying AI to speed delivery (e.g., code assistants, test generation, data extraction).
GDPR- minded design; exposure to ISO 27001/SOC2 controls.
Designing and operating APIs (REST/GraphQL) and modular architectures (microservices or modular monoliths).
AWS/Kubernetes/EKS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), Prometheus/Grafana, and experience migrating from serverless/EC2 to K8s.
Logistics experience in freight audit, rating, tendering, and EDI/e- invoicing.

Where & how we work

Right- to- work in Vietnam required; we help you with visa and relocations if necessary.
As a part of engineering team, you will be working from our offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam at least first year and then relocate to Thailand
