Technical Manager

Our Client is a FDI company in Vietnam. They are looking for a Technical Manager who will be responsible for
Job Description:
• Be able to execute all forms of fashion patterns, particularly in woven tops.
• Identify subordinate training gaps based on losses/business needs and collaborate with HR/Training to fix them.
• Collaborate with the QA team to improve sewing and construction quality.
• Determine the causes of employee nonconformance (e.g., training needs, poor performance management, unwillingness to obey lawful instruction, absenteeism, turnover) and take appropriate action.
• Be able to work with all sorts of office management software, such as Office XP, Gerber, and CAD.
• Make certain that all personnel follow the system&039;s standard operating procedures (SOPs/WIs, line layout, Quality standard, Lean manufacturing, etc.).
• Conduct fit and pattern evaluations on garment samples to ensure that they comply to business specifications / criteria.
• Ensure that all employees and operators properly adhere to the company&039;s laws and regulations.
• Perform any additional duties as given by management from time to time.
• Create Personal Development Plans for subordinates and track their success.
• Understand fabric structures and fabric behaviors
• Be in charge of fit and construction risk management.
• Actively assist merchants and the QA Team in offering technical assistance and direction to ensure that samples satisfy set requirements.
• Keep track of and reduce wastes including product, packaging, steam, air, water, and electricity.
• Assume control and protection of the company&039;s assets.
• Resolve a wide range of quality issues in cutting, stitching, and finishing.
