JOB OVERVIEW• We are seeking a Test Manager/Test Lead with experience working with the Japan market to join our quality assurance team. (Team size 40- 60 member)

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Stay updated with new testing tools, techniques, and industry trends to improve testing processes.
• Lead and manage the QA team , providing support and guidance to testers.
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and customers to understand market- specific requirements for the Japanese market.
• You will be responsible for managing the software testing processes, ensuring high- quality products, and aligning with the requirements of the Japan market. You will lead the QA team, plan, and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
• Design and execute test plans, write and maintain test cases.
• Ensure that testing activities meet the required quality standards and specifications for the Japan market
• Manage test activities, track progress, and ensure that products are tested on time and meet high- quality standards.
• Propose and implement process improvements and best practices for testing.
• Develop and implement testing strategies and processes for software projects, especially for products targeting the Japanese market.
• Report on test progress, defect trends, and overall product quality to senior management.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including identifying, documenting, and verifying defect fixes.

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or
• Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience working with software products for the Japanese market or in an environment
with Japanese clients.
• Strong knowledge of software testing, including functional testing, automated testing,
and performance testing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in Japanese (N3 or higher) to communicate effectively with Japan clients.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) for test automation.
• Experience using test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Desired Skills and Qualities:
• Experience in cloud- based testing and mobile application testing.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, multicultural environment
• Strong problem- solving and analytical skills.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
