The Associate User Experience Designer assists in the design of user journeys and development of wireframes, ensuring design work is consistent with design and brand standards, analytics insights and customer feedback. He/She coordinates consultation sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and needs, conducts research on user needs and behaviours, market and industry trends, as well as comparable experiences to support development of user experience (UX). He assists in usability assessments and tests, and analyses the pros and cons of refinements and iterations. He works under supervision to effectively deal with unfamiliar issues. He is knowledgeable of user experience design methodologies and familiar with relevant design tools and software. The Associate UX Designer is analytical in the evaluation of user feedback and offers new and fresh perspectives and suggestions to optimise the user experience. He is articulate and comfortable with brainstorming and putting forth his ideas to team members and other stakeholders to co- create an ideal user experience.
Key funtions:
Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design to continuously enhance customer experience.
Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, tables, etc.)
Conduct UI design and coding, creating reusable objects, templates, and wireframes for web pages, email, etc.- and manage maintenance, updates, expansions, and scaling of each design
Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, product, and management teams on the development, QA, and release of impactful products
Devise user- centered designs by precisely understanding business requirements and customer feedback.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems at the source to ensure smooth product operations
Translate requirements into visually attractive style guides, design systems, design patterns, and easy- to- use user interfaces
Communicate UX research directly to senior management and devise UX strategy in tandem
Technology Skills
Understand the concept of optimizing design concepts around frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, Mobile App
Experience in Photoshop/Illustration is a plus
Prior experience with Figma is a plus.
Understand the concept of Design Systems, UX, UI, and product design
Prior experience designing UI/UX interfaces- having a portfolio to show is a plus.
