Job Overview
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating appealing and innovative visual displays that align with Brands. The role involves crafting luxurious and aesthetically pleasing layouts that enhance the customer experience, highlight key products, and ultimately drive sales. The Visual Merchandiser works closely with store management and creative and marketing teams to ensure the store&039;s layout reflects current trends, promotions, and seasonal changes.
Key Responsibilities
Display Planning and Execution:
Maintain consistency in styling and presentation across all store sections.
Design and execute attractive window and in- store displays that reflect the brand image and highlight key furniture pieces and accessories.
Ensure displays are regularly updated to feature new products, promotions, and seasonal collections.
Define, design, and implement a visual merchandising strategy for the stores.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
Create an immersive and visually stimulating shopping environment that encourages customer engagement and drives sales.
Ensure store layout facilitates ease of navigation and product discovery for customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to incorporate customer feedback into display adjustments and improvements.
Market Trend Analysis:
Stay updated with the latest visual merchandising trends in luxury furniture and interior design.
Monitor competitor displays and industry best practices to ensure the store remains competitive and relevant.
Visual Merchandising Guidelines:
Training for store managers of guideline and standard of display.
Provide feedback to the visual merchandising management on the effectiveness of current displays and offer suggestions for improvement.
Adhere to and implement the company’s visual merchandising guidelines and ensure all displays meet brand standards.
Collaboration with Cross- Functional Teams:
Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align visual displays with promotional campaigns and brand messaging.
Collaborate with the store management to ensure product availability for key displays and featured items.
Job Requirements
Creative Vision: Strong artistic and creative ability with a keen eye for aesthetics, colors, textures, and design trends.
Project Management: Strong organizational and time- management skills to plan and execute displays efficiently within given timeframes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD) is a plus.
At least 2- 3 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably in the luxury retail or furniture industry.
Attention to Detail: Ability to create cohesive displays that capture the essence of the brand and luxury appeal.
A degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with cross- functional teams and articulate design concepts.
Physical Requirements:
Flexibility to work non- standard hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, when needed for display setup.
Ability to lift and move furniture and display materials.
