Web Designer (UI/UX)/ User Experience Design & User Interface Design

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Work closely with developers to ensure that design specifications are implemented
Analyse, assess and implement user requirements formulated by the digital team
Quickly understand, analyse and respond to client briefs
Conduct user requirement analysis, task analysis, information architecture design, interaction design and usability testing
Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design and design rationale both verbally and visually
Develop responsive UI wireframes, prototypes that can clearly indicate how the digital application is meant to work on different devices
Design user interfaces that delight users using participatory and iterative design techniques, observational studies, stakeholder interviews, usability tests and other forms of requirement discovery
Work with the lead digital designer to integrate style guidelines that implement the company’s branding guidelines
Demonstrate design ideas by creating wireframes, design concepts

Academics and Experience Required:

Experience in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, XD
A continuous passion for design, that is reflected through an online portfolio available for viewing
Great communication skills
Skilled storyteller, with experience working in multidisciplinary environments
A 2 year+ proven strong track record of digital design team leadership, with knowledge, experience and focus on web and mobile application design development
Strong knowledge of design process and project management
Knowledge of HTML, CSS is a plus
